Do you want to create 3 products that are sold individually, together, or even bundled with printable planners
Do you want to create them quickly?
Do you want to create unique designs and do it using free software?

If the answer is yes to any of these questions, I have the answer for you. I have found 3 niches that Google research shows are evergreen niches. The niches are good because not only is each one a niche in its own right; you bundle the niches together for sale or even bundle them with a printable planner.

Hi, my name is Marian Blake. Over the last few years, I have made it my quest to find digital product niches that are simple to make and that are saleable on sites such as Etsy and your own website. I especially like to create digital products that I can create, publish, and leave to sell so I can spend my time creating more products.
To do this, I spend hours learning different software and diving into digital product niches to find products that sell that I can make quickly and easily.

So what have I found?

I have found you can sell these products on Etsy or similar sites and your own website. With a little training, you can quickly make these designs. Oh, and they are a digital download, so no product to store and shift or you can make them into a book and sell them that way.

I am using a software that may be new to some of you. There is a learning curve, but it is worth the effort to learn it. Don't worry, I have gone through the learning phase so all you have to do is follow along.

Below are four examples of the techniques you will learn.

A divider with a public domain book cover image, a tab template, a minimalist month dashboard, and a multiple-image dashboard

I am so happy to announce my next course in the Marian's Minis series.

Dashboards, Dividers, and Tabs

How to create printable planner separators in Inkscape

Before I go any further, I think I should introduce you to Marian's Minis courses.

Each Marian's Minis course is a short course that usually covers one product type. They are not difficult to create, so you can either sell them as your main product line, or as a sideline. They are also great for people who have limited time to create products.

What will you get with the course?

Included in the Dashboard, Dividers and Tabs course is

  • Research into the niche.
  • How to create templates for commercial and printable planners!
  • Videos on how to decorate your templates using images (both public domain and paid for), quotes, or just one word.
  • How to turn one tab design into a page of tabs.
  • Over 20 Step-by-Step guides for Inkscape techniques you can download for reference,
  • Two divider templates and much more.....

You can make Dashboard, Dividers, and Tabs for many niches.

You can create them for printable planners, journals and notebooks

You can create them for printable commercial planners.

You can create them to appeal to different age groups.

You can even make templates and sell them so your customer can create their own.

You can create them using free public domain images or with images you have purchased online.

If you can follow instructions and can click a mouse, you can do this. One technique is tracing using your mouse.

You can do all the designing on free software - Inkscape.

A Quick Word About Inkscape

I know many of you haven't heard of Inkscape and wonder what type of image software it is. Inkscape is a vector graphics program on the same lines as Adobe Illustrator and Affinity Designer. It is not a copy of either, but works similarly to get the same results.

Why am I using this software?

  • It has many features that make creating a breeze.
  • It allows you to take small images (yes, even JPEGs and PNGs) and makes them huge without losing definition and getting pixilation or vice versa.
  • It allows you to save in many formats so you can create multiple products with the same design.
  • You can import an image and then manipulate it.
  • You can start with a blank canvas and create your own design.
  • It is versatile.
  • And last, IT IS FREE TO USE. No purchase fees. No monthly fees. No update fees. Zip, Nada, Rien, None.

Okay, it isn't perfect. BUT it is very, very good. Inkscape is a free to use, open-source vector graphics editor. The website admits it is not as good as Adobe Illustrator for some things, but they say it can be "used to create, edit, render vector graphics, including complex drawings and illustrations".

I have found that it works very well for me as a digital product designer
